Baling Oats

Bales bales and more bales! Jerry and I baled 120 acres of oats. We got 498 1/2 bales. We were pretty tired of baling by the time we got done but it is sure fun to get that many bales! I'm glad I don't have to move all of them.

Hello all! I have spent entirely to much time in a swather and in a tractor this week. The result of extended periods of time in equipment is, hare brained ideas. One of which is starting a blog. I know, I know, it seems like 8 to 10 hours in a tractor would discourage coming up with more stuff to do, but it don't. I set there dreaming up all these really great things I could be doing if I wasn't in the tractor. By the time I get out of the tractor, I'm usually to tired to carry any of these ideas out, but I guess I'm gonna try this blog thing. I'm hoping this will push me to be a little more diligent about taking pictures, I always seem to forget my camera.
Wyatt started baseball this week. He loves it! He is pretty young to be playing but there is at least 4 other boys that are his age. They are really young compared to the boys they are playing. Either that or Miltonvale just has a bunch of midgets! He had 2 games this week. From here on out he should just have one game a week. We usually are just getting a good start in the field, when it is time to shut down and go to baseball. It is so much fun to watch. There is usually 2 or 3 kids playing in the dirt, but not Wyatt. He takes baseball very serious, I don't know when it will wear off, but he is all business on the field.
